How did the words 'Ram' come into being? Visakha Hari, presenting a programme on Sri Tyaga Brahmam's Ramayanam as part of the Sri Krishna Sweet's Chennai-365 programmes in Chennai recently, said the letter 'M' was taken from the M in Namasivaayam and 'Ra' in Narayana. The two together formed 'Ram', it was pointed out.
The programme was arranged by Vedic Sangeetha Foundation and Sri Krishna Sweets at the Asthika Samajam as part of the Chennai-365 series.
Visakha Hari also pointed out that Swami Vivekananda had stated that even if the entire world was terminated, and there were only two survivors, the two would talk only about Rama and
Seetha.
A large number of devotees gathered at the Asthika Samajam to listen to the discourse.
