Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers has announced that it has become India's first jeweller to have all its diamonds and diamond-studded jewellery certified for the 'Highest Quality in Diamonds' by the International Gemological Institute, which is the world's leading independent diamond, gemstone and fine jewellery certification institute.
IGI's unique Mobile Laboratory has certified Vummidi Bangaru Jeweller's vast collection of Diamond Jewellery. Based on Cut, Carat, Clarity and Colour the diamond jewellery has been graded as the 'Highest Quality In Diamonds' -- IF VVS1 in Clarity and DEF (Exceptional White) Colour, lending the ultimate stamp of assurance, quality and authenticity to these elegant and stylish jewels.

Having understood the importance of diamond certification, Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers have already been providing a certificate of authenticity for their diamond jewellery that was being graded in-house by Jithendra and Amarendhra Vummidi who are also trained gemologists.

(IGI), the world's leading independent Gemstone & Diamond Certification Institute headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium has pioneered the concept of Certification over the last six years in India and today certifies many of India's popular jewellery brands. IGI set up the unique Mobile Laboratory concept (Grading at site) recently to meet the growing needs of the jewellery trade across the country and has received an overwhelming response so far. It takes approximately five working days to certify around 1000 carats, on completion of which, customised reports are given to jewellers. The concept has proved to be a boon to the jewellery industry and trade since huge volumes can be certified within the premises of the jeweller, with no security issues of couriering jewellery across cities, Printer said.
