 The Raja Lakshmi Kubera Trust proposes the construction of a Sri Lakshmi Kuberar Temple at Ratnamangalam near the Vandalur zoo on the outskirts of
Chennai.
The bestower of wealth is Godess Sri Lakshmi and Kubera is the custodian of such wealth. Devotees believe worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Kubera will bestow undiminishing wealth, plenty and progress. The kumbabhishekam was held on July 6.
The 4,000-square-foot temple complex will have a five-tier gopuram. Lakshmi Kubera is the main deity. The construction cost is estimated at Rs 30
lakh.
Apart from Lakshmi Kubera, the temple will also have the idols of Lakshmi
Ganapathy, Selva Muthu Kumaran, Yoga Anjaneya, Navagrahas, with their Vahanas in separate
sannithis, with a 'Goshaala'. Happy Man, the Luck God of Japan and China will also be consecrated here.
The Trust solicits liberal donations from devotees and philanthropists.
 Donations can also be done in the form of articles like pooja items. Donations can be made through
cheques, demand drafts, money order or cash payable to "Raja Lakshmi Kubera Trust". Donors paying Rs 1,001 will get an archana in their name, those paying above Rs.1,001 upto Rs 5,001 will get predictions, based on their data of date of birth and name, by a researcher with over 14 years standing. For donors paying more than
Rs. 5,001, the temple authorities will perform an 'archana' every year, either on the donor's birthday or marriage day and send them the Lakshmi Kuberar
Prasadham.
Donations to the Trust are exempted under section 80G of the IT Act.
