 AVM 60-Cinema book released
AVM Saravanan has written about his experiences after he took over the production of films in the '60 years old and still going strong' production company under the title AVM 60 - Cinema.
The 496-page
book was released at a simple function recently in the AVM
studio complex. Director SP Muthuraman released the book and
Superstar Rajnikant received the first copy.
Saravanan has
come out with many hitherto untold details/experiences he
encountered with each of the films produced under his guidance.
Photographs of directors, actors, actresses, lyricists, music directors and technicians and also employees from general managers to office boys, who were part and parcel of AVM production company's growth, form an interesting 80-page compilation in the book.
The book, published by Rajarajan Pathipagam, is priced at Rs 175.
Each copy of the book carries with it a DVD of the AVM institution as a free gift. This DVD is edited and directed by director SP
Muthuraman.
