Ram's film 'Katradhu Tamizh' starring Jeeva and newcomer Anjali had all the ingredients of a good film but somehow failed to make ripples at the box-office. Stung by the film's defeat, Ram was in the sidelines for some months but has regained his composure to direct his next film now.
Director-turned-actor Cheran had once told Ram that he had himself wanted to make 'Katradhu Tamizh' besides starring in it. Ram couldn't wait to get Cheran's dates and managed to secure Jeeva's call-sheets first and then located a producer. Cheran, who consoled Ram to have a determined mind and not buckle down under pressure due to the failure of his debut vehicle, reportedly told Ram that he was ready to give dates to him again.
Ram hoped Cheran's 'Raman Thediya Seethai' would be a roaring success and so would his yet-to-be-released 'Pokkisham'. Ram is now trying to locate a suitable producer. Ram has now reportedly decided to make this film a bit 'commercial' so that the producer isn't made to suffer afterwards.
Let's wish Ram a great success in future!
