Actor Arjun
Vijay has
been
visiting
many cinema
halls across
the State to
promote his
film 'Malai
Malai'. The
film is said
to be doing
reasonably
well,
reports say.
When Vijay
reached a
cinema hall
in Dindigul,
he was
shocked as
the
projector in
the cinema
hall showing
'Malai Malai'
developed
some snag
and couldn't
be repaired,
putting the
theatre-owner
in a fix.
The
cinema hall
was part of
a multiplex;
Sasikumar's
'Nadodigal'
was the
other film
that had
been
released in
the other
hall. The
theatre-owner
rang up
Sasikumar,
who was in
Chennai, and
requested
him to
screen the
film 'Malai
Malai'
instead of 'Nadodigal'
for one
particular
show in view
of the visit
of Arun
Vijay.
Without
blinking an
eyelid,
Sasikumar is
said to have
given his
consent
immediately.

Movie review
The news
that it
would be 'Malai
Malai' and
not 'Nadodigal'
which would
be screened
was
announced to
the public
through the
public
address
system. An
embarrassed
Arun Vijay
regained his
composure
and sat
among the
public and
watched the
film and the
audience's
reaction to
it. Later,
he also took
part in a
question-answer
session.
