The world's largest and most prestigious wildlife and environment film festival is now on in Chennai.
'Reason of Hope' - a special presentation - was made by Dr Jane Goodall DBE, Primatologist & founder of Jane Goodall Institute at the British Council on January 22, 2007.
The year 2006 marks the silver jubilee of the Wildscreen Festival and 2007 as well as the centenary of British wildlife filmmaking. This international film festival
(www.wildscreenfestival.org.uk) is being brought to India for the first time jointly by the British High Commission and the British Council
(www.britishcouncil.org/india-science-wildscreen-film-festival-07-chennai.htm). The Chennai programme featuring six UK experts from Wildscreen is being organised in partnership with NatureQuest and Alive Foundation of Satyam Cinemas.
