 The
Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission, Chennai, and the International
Cine Appreciation Forum (ICAF) organised a Sri Lankan Film
Festival in Chennai from August 8-10, 2007, at the South Indian
Film Chamber Theatre.
The festival was inaugurated by P M Amza,
Deputy High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in Southern India
(Chennai), at 6.15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8.
The chief guest was S Ramakrishnan, state
Chief Information Commissioner, Chennai. The guests of honour
were S Karthi and Anu Haasan, actress. S Kannan, president, ICAF,
chaired over the function. The festival was organised by the
ICAF general secretary E Thangaraj.
