Director Bala, who takes his own time to make his movies, is finally
getting ready to release his ‘Naan Kadavul’. The film, fourth for the
director after ‘Sethu’, ‘Nanda’ and ‘Pithamagan’, is also said to be his
best film yet. The film has been in the making now for close to two years,
making Arya grow a huge beard for the film, thereby making him unavailable
for other projects as well.

Bala hasn’t
written the
dialogues and
has instead used
the services of
noted writer
Jayamohan. Among
the many firsts
for the film,
actress Pooja
has dubbed in
her own voice
for a film for
the first time.
After the hit
song ‘Kallai
Mattum...’
praising Lord
Vishnu in ‘Dasavatharam’,
Kavignar Vaalee
has written
another song for
‘Naan Kadavul’
in praise on
Lord Shiva this
time. For the
first time, a
full-fledged
song in Sanskrit
features in a
Tamil film in ‘Naan
Kadavul’.
