V.
Sekar (of 'Tiruvalluvar
Kalaikoodam')
is one of
the very few
directors in
Kollywood
who have
dared to
depict
on-screen
the actual
behind-the-scene
activities
of Tamil
cinema in
realistic
terms. In
his film 'Neengalum
Herothaan'
which
released a
few years
ago, Sekar
had
courageously
made fun of
the tantrums
and
unwarranted
starry airs
thrown by
leading
stars.

Now, a
film of
similar
genre is
again in the
pipeline.
The film, to
be aptly
titled
'Tamil Padam',
would strive
to bring to
the fore the
atrocious
activities
indulged in
by many
leading
heroes
behind-the-screen
and off the
record.
Newcomer
Amudhan has
taken it
upon himself
to set the
screenplay
to match the
above-said
ideas.
The film
would spare
none and
would start
from
superstar
Rajnikant to
conclude
with the
latest
newcomer in
the
industry.
Such a film
obviously
requires a
courageous
producer.
Sources
claim that
Dayanidhi,
son of Union
Minister and
DMK's
Madurai
strongman,
will be
producing
the film.
