Comedian Vivek starred as hero in the film 'Solli Adippaen' opposite the now-forgotten Chaaya Singh. The film's shooting was over more than a year ago but the film has been lying in cold storage for want of demand from distributors. Prior to this, Vivek also played the lead role in a film 'Panju', which too couldn't see the light of the day. Believe it or not, there are still some producers out there who are chasing 'Padmashri' Vivek to play lead roles in their films.

Having had a bitter experience in playing the lead role twice, Vivek is said to be extra-cautious this time around. Deciding that it would be better if he wrote his own story and dialogues, he has penned a story titled 'Kondithoppu Subbu'. If everything goes well, the film would be directed by Sharavana Shakti.

Vivek adds that he has been badly hurt by recent instances of children slipping into manholes and open holes and losing their precious lives. To create an awareness among the members of the public about remaining vigilant, Vivek plans to star in a film where he falls in a gaping hole and struggles for survival.
