Mumtaj in a city theatre

Call it a trend or a nervous way of sensing the pulse of the fans or gauging the results. But, its a common practice in Kollywood. We are talking about film stars visiting the theatres where their latest films are screened and mingling with the audience to witness the response to the film and their roles. Well, the latest one to adapt the trend is Mumtaj.

Mumtaj.

The actress who is struggling to find a place back in Kollywood was all eager to see the audience reaction for her rather unusual role in the film 'Rajadhi Raja', the Raghava Lawrence starrer directed by Shakti Chidambaram. The film has Mumtaj donning a negative character and she recently visited the Udhayam theatre in the city for a live analysis of fans'(?) response to her histrionics on screen. But, the actress was rather depressed on seeing the response and was in no mood to stay further. If this is the case with Mumtaj, Director Shakthi Chidambaram seems to have adapted a different outlook. His logic seem to be Love or Hate, Don't ignore!

Now, that's what they call it as positive thinking.
