 The competition reaches its peak on Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru 3 on
Vijay TV as it enters the first semi-final this Friday June 22,
2007.
The competition is between Ramar from Madurai, Anu Stephen from
Erode; Mahendran & Deepan Arunachalam from Chennai.
 Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru 3 encourages women participants as weel;
Sangeetha, a lecturer from Chennai, is competing with the men.
Once they take the stage, ripples of laughter are expected to
follow. The episode has various stand-up comedies performed by
these talented artistes and imitation of popular comedy artistes
like Gaundamani and Manorama.
The judges, S Ve Shekar and Uma
Riyaz, will decide who will proceed to the next round. Also,
anchor Sethu, a talented mimicry artiste, displays his skill by
imitating 'Cho'.
The semi-final will be telecast
on June 22, Friday at 10 p.m.
Super Singer Junior
 In this reality show on Vijay
TV, three finalists chosen by judges Chitra and Usha Uthup are
eagerly waiting to know who will be their fourth competitor.
The six wild card contestants
turned in a good performance in the wild card round which was
witnessed by playback singers Anooradha Sriram and Srinivas. The
viewers were given the choice to vote for their favourite kid
and give a junior an opportunity to get back into the
competition.
The six contestants -
Balasarangan, Roshan, Deepthi Suresh, Abarna, Vidyalakshmi,
Dhanyashree - await the decision that will give them a golden
chance to enter the finals. The votes are in and the result

The announcement was made by
singer Unnikrishnan who had already played the role of a judge
in the previously contest of Super Singer. He does the honours
of announcing the wildcard winner who will be joining Sai Charan,
Vignesh and Krishnamoorthy as the fourth finalist and a tough
competition awaits the four. The result will be announced at the
Chennai Citi Centre with a live audience.
The earlier selected three
finalists will perform for the first time in front of a live
audience. The kids' parents, well-wishers and friends all
accompanied them to wish the kids good luck and show their
support. Tune in to Super Singer Junior on June 22 and 23, 2007
(Friday & Saturday) at 8 p.m. to watch the excitement of the
