TV celebrated the birthday of 'Ilayathalapathi Vijay' with a
bang on June 22, 2007. In lieu of the birthday celebrations,
many contests were planned for his fans from June 14 onwards.
One such contest was about
Vijay and Vijay TV that was conducted on the Star SMS/voice
portal. Fifty highest scorers won an exclusive opportunity to
celebrate the birthday of Vijay - by joining him in a gala bash
on June 23, 2007.
The winners were overwhelmed to
see Kollywood's next super star in person.
The special guest for the event
was actor Prakash Raj who shared his experiences of working with
the young actor. "Vijay is a very good friend of mine and I
would love to work with him in more projects," added Prakash Raj.

Chandrasekar, Vijay's father, blessed his son and wished him a
long life.
The fans of Vijay were
immensely happy as they were given special gifts while the actor
interacted with them. The
Super Singer Junior
finalists - Vignesh, Saisharan, Abarna and Krishnamoorthy -
rendered a special performance in front of the audience. Along
with this performance, the
Kalakkapovathu Yaaru
team - Sivakarthikeyan, Dotty and Lollu Sabha fame Jeeva -
performed a stand-up comedy and mimicry to entertain the guests.
