 In
a span of four months, 'Airtel Super Singer Junior' on Vijay TV
identified many talented juniors across Tamil Nadu. After a
relentless search for that kid voice from over 30,000
contestants who auditioned in three different zones - Coimbatore,
Tiruchirapalli and Chennai, the viewers who have made the final
decision and have chosen that VOICE which was a class apart.
In a nail-biting finale,
Vignesh and Krishnamoorthy truly vied with one another in their
fight for the coveted title of Airtel Super Singer Jr. At the
end of the show, the viewers were given the power to choose one
of the two and vote to make them win. The voting lines were open
for 48 hours and a phenomenal response was received on both the
SMS and online platform.
 And the viewers voted... and
the result is....! Krishnamoorthy, the young lad of 14 currently
doing his class-10, was chosen the Airtel Super Singer Jr by the
viewers.
The winner was awarded the
title by legendary Carnatic vidwan M Balamuralikrishna, while
the judges, singers Usha Uthup and Chitra, looked on. The grand
finale in which the results were announced was attended by
popular singers Mahathi, Vijay Jesudas and Srilekha
Parthasarathy. Special awards were also given to the outstanding
performers among the juniors.
