 Vijay TV is now set to launch a new song
countdown show, 'Amman TRY Hit Mela Hit' from September 16,
2007, airing Sundays at 9 a.m.
The countdown show will showcase the top five
hit songs from Kollywood last week. The highlighting aspect of
the countdown show is that the viewers will choose their
favourite song by voting. It will be the viewers who decide
which songs will hold the top five places on a weekly basis.
Viewers need to pick their
favourite song and SMS to 57827. The song that receives the
maximum public favour will be given the No.1 position of the
week. Viewers can also log on to www.startv.in and vote for
their favourite song.
 This set-based countdown show, designed in bright colours, will
be hosted by a young, charming and talented host, Mithuna. She
shares some interesting facts about the song, its playback
singer, speaks about the choreography and some inside news on
the making of the song.
Along with the anchor, there will be a comical stock character
called V-MAN, whose outfits are inspired by Superman; who will
pass hilarious comments on songs that have been inspired from
other songs and will make parodies of hit songs. The countdown
show also has a special segment in which a celebrity visits the
show and shares a social message with the viewers.
