| Independence Day Buffet
On August 15, the Indian dishes at Mainstreet, the 24-hour restaurant at the Residency Towers, will be named after freedom fighters and famous places that figure in the freedom struggle.
The continental dishes would be named after British Generals and other key figures during the British
Raj.
One can choose from a Bhagat Singh Mast Mast (a Punjabi chicken dish) or Mutton Red Fort Curry or Lord Mountbatten Grilled Chicken to name a few.
The decor and ambience would be crafted to suit the Independence Day celebrations, with even the otherwise suit-and-skirt-clad staff going in for ethnic dresses on that day, complete with Nehru caps.
The buffet is priced at Rs 300 (net) for adults and Rs 200 (net) for children. The lunch buffet would be available from 12 noon to 1600 hrs, and dinner buffet from 1930 to 2330 hrs.
For bookings of the Independence Day Special Buffet, call the Residency Towers at 28156363.
