Golden Dragon, the Chinese restaurant at the hotel is hosting Masterstrokes, the much awaited and celebrated event in the calendar of events at the hotel. This annual event will see chefs from the Taj Palace Delhi, Taj Lands End, Mumbai and our very own, Chinese chef from Taj Coromandel whipping up awesome Chinese specialties between August 18 and August 31, 2003, for both lunch and dinner.
Master Strokes is an annual event celebrated by the Taj Coromandel and is billed as one of the biggest shows at the restaurant, the event showcasing the culinary skills of three of the best Chinese chefs across the Group.
P.K Mohankumar, General Manger, Taj Coromandel, explains, “Masterstrokes is a much awaited and sought after event at the Golden Dragon. The event has twin objectives. One is to showcase the culinary expertise of the Chinese Master chefs by exhibiting their signature recipes. The second, is to present guests who have not travelled to the other cities with an opportunity to sample the culinary skills of the visiting Chinese chefs besides that of our own, Chef Hardy Cheung.”
Chef Lo Ka Yan from the Tea House of the August Moon, Taj Palace, Delhi, Chef David from Ming Yang, Taj Lands End, Mumbai, and Chef Hardy Cheung from Golden Dragon, Taj Coromandel are all set to draw upon their vast experience and tantalise the taste buds of the guests streaming into the restaurant.
