Sunday Funda of the Verandah
 If you have been waiting all along for that elusive picture perfect Sunday where you can wake up leisurely after some sound sleep, enjoy a relaxed brunch and do things at your own pace, consider your wait over. Thanks to the Verandah, the 24-hour coffee shop at the Taj Connemara, now you can live Sundays the way you have always wanted to - relaxed and peacefully. Starting October 26, 2003 the restaurant has launched Sunday Brunch, a brunch program between 11:30 hrs and 1500 hrs, offering an eclectic spread of cuisine to choose from.
According to R Pashupathy, General Manager, Taj Connemara, “Given the rigorous schedules people live by these days, Sunday is the only day of the week when they get to do things at their own pace – waking up late, having a relaxed brunch and then some fun in the company of friends. We decide to make life easier and more enjoyable for our guests and came up with this Sunday Brunch feature. Guests can walk into the restaurant for a relaxed and elaborate brunch that is spread over three hours starting noon, and can choose from an assorted range of cuisine. And like all our other earlier endeavours, we are positive that our guests will immensely appreciate this one as well.”
The chefs at the restaurant have worked out a menu that includes Indian, Continental, Italian, American and Chinese cuisine. Guests can choose their brunch fare from the various counters for salads, pastas, chaats, kebabs and desserts and help themselves.
