Double dose of Dosas this summer at The Residency

Kheema Dosa, Chicken Lababdar Dosa, Cauliflower Dosa, Pizza Dosa and more on offer at the "Dosa festival", hosted by The Right Place, the 24-hour coffee shop at the Residency.

This festival of crispy dosas accompanied by soft coconut chutney, tangy tomato chutney and delightful sambar is on between 11.00 a.m. and 11.00 p.m. until the 30th of April 2003.

The festival, which has been on from the 1st of April, has not only caught the attention of many dosa-lovers but has been accepted by the initial set of customers who have begun to frequent the place. 

Chakarpalaza Dosa & Ice cream Dosa are proclaimed the piece de resistance. Mulagu Dosa is another hot-seller and so is the Special Vegetable Oothappam, which is made with lots of cauliflower, capsicum, beetroot, and onions. Priced between Rs.50/- and Rs.60/- (Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian), these dosas are a meal by themselves.

"This is the second time that we have organized the dosa festival and we have received an overwhelming response so far. A lot of effort has gone into the preparation of different dosas and special care is taken in selecting the tapioca, and cooking it along with condiments. To round it off, our team of experts have chosen sweet dosas that tickle the taste buds and offer a new variety and choice for the customers" - Commented Mr. Jayashankar, F & B Manager, The Residency.

The special varieties of vegetarian & non-vegetarian dosas include Kheema Dosa, Rava Egg Dosa, Cauliflower Dosa, Paruppu Adai, etc. The range of Sweet Dosas includes Jam Dosa, Ice Cream Dosa, Coconut Dosa, etc. for the happy ones.

To quench one's thirst, this summer, before a yummy feast, the restaurant has an awesome spread of specialty thirst quenchers. The traditional coconut water with a tinge of mint & sweetened with honey, the nannari 'Amrit - the all blue sprite with lime and angostura bitters, and many more like the Black thunder, Summer storm, The ice effect, Dash 'n' splash, Sherbet-e-nawab Beach mocktail, Mix'n match are competitively priced at Rs.40/- each.

The festival will set you in the right mood to usher in the month of May with many more happy hours of pleasurable eating at The Residency.
