Even at night, when the mercury levels don’t seem to dip too low, the poolside can indeed be a great idea to chill out! And to give Chennaiites another great opportunity to relax and let loose, the Taj Connemara is hosting Barbeque Nights, a barbeque festival, at its poolside. On until June 8, 2003, festival is only for dinner.
Explains Mr. R Pasupathy, General Manager, Taj Connemara, “With soaring temperatures, summer this year is getting increasingly difficult to bear with. But, ironically summer is the time to chill out. At the Taj Connemara, we believe that there can’t be petty excuses in the way of celebrating life and the things it has to offer. So, we came up with a couple of such fests to help our guests have a blast!! And going by the response of the earlier Beer & Sausage festival, we are positive of a very encouraging response to Barbeque Nights as well. After all, it’s not just about good food - it’s about a memorable chilled-out experience!”
What’s all the more appealing than the idea of having a barbeque by the poolside is the menu itself. Chefs Sunny and Mushtaq Ali, who have culled the menu, certainly believe in variety. So, guests can enjoy the pleasure of experiencing a new menu every day of the fest. And that includes anything from Surf & Turf Kebab - Beef Teriyaki -to Galouti kebabs - Marinated Tofu skewers - …well, many more such divine delicacies.
Simply, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t check out the Taj Connemara - your chill-out haven this summer!
