 ‘The Westminister, the famous bar in Hotel Park Sheraton Towers, Chennai, has a regal look about it true to its name. The entire bar overlooks a corridor adjoining the swimming pool. The décor is entirely in wood with plush cushioned chairs, table lamps, subtle lighting and subdued music. The well-stocked bar has on offer an innovative array of cocktails, mocktails and a never ending list of spirits. The bar is a culmination of domestic spirits and international favourites. One of the specialities of the bar is the exclusive range of international cigars. A selection of the world’s best cigars are offered to the guests, and these cigars are stored in specially made boxes which help in maintaining the humid temperature required to store them. There is a separate cigar menu, for the guests, to choose from.
Among the cocktails, Brandy Alexander, a blend of cognac and crème de cacao is available for an afternoon rendezvous. Mai Tai, the dark and white rum combination, is a fruity and classic cocktail. The inevitable Margarita, from down Mexico, weaves a heady magic. Whisky Sour, yet another drink from the bar menu, promises to be the original - to name a few. Under the mocktails category there is Cricketer’s Special, Just For Kicks which is a playful mélange of sweet, sour and bitter, and Jungle Cooler among others. The bar also concocts an array of cocktails going by the taste of the guests, and in-house specialities like Beer with coffee flavour and Beer with orange flavour keeps the guests especially women coming back for more. The Irish Coffee is an all-time favourite among the guests.
 A cocktail trolley which the bartender uses to mix the drinks, beside the seated guests as per their specifications, is also available. The trolley resembles a mini, but fully equipped bar. The guests have the pleasure of watching their choice of concoctions made, from the comfort of their seats. The bartenders are swift and precise in serving the guests.
When the menu for spirits is offered what catches the eye is the various types of Grappa in its unique hand-blown bottles. The entire range sends the guests into an all-time high. There is a choice of Cubetto, Penna, Corallo, Diamanti, Moby Dick and many more. The accompaniments to all these exotic drinks run in the form of a snack menu which offers ample vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare for the guests to choose from. The barmen claim to have some of the best liquors available in Chennai brought in, from all over the world.
