Pepper rasam
Hi! Guys frustrated with the rasam
varieties, wait till next week. I will start the recipes for side dishes, so please wait for another week.
This week let us learn about pepper rasam.
Ingredients:

Tomato- 1

Tamarind - gooseberry size

Salt- as per your requirement

Cumin seeds (jeera) - a tablespoon

Curry and coriander leaves
-
Pepper - a tablespoon

Coriander seeds
Method :
Smash tomato and boil it with a tumbler of water. After boiling the tomato, add tamarind and requisite amount of salt and simmer for five minutes. Meanwhile, grind coriander seeds, pepper and cumin seeds into a fine powder.
Once the tamarind boils well add the powdered ingredients and add curry and coriander leaves for taste and smell. Let the rasam be on the fire for a minute and switch off the stove.
Your pepper rasam is ready.
If you are suffering from cold or a bad throat, prepare this rasam and take a good swig. You will be ready to sing.
