 The Health Club at GRT Grand Days is the hotel's own outlet situated in the basement of the hotel. The club has a very serene and sparkling clean look about it, which gives the guests a totally relaxed feeling on entering the premises. The Health Spa is a combination of a well equipped Gym, Jacuzzi, Steam, Sauna, and an indoor Swimming Pool.
There is also an availability of a ladies and gents parlour Senor and
Senorita. The club provides a number of massages like the Swedish Massage for which different types of oils are used like Coconut oil/Cream, Olive oil or the Ayurvedic Massage where herbal oil is used.
The best and most popular massage among these is the Body Stress Treatment Massage, which takes the guests on an entirely new experience. To start with the guest is given a bath after which a full body massage with aroma oil is done. Then the head is massaged with coconut oil, the face is massaged with cucumber cream & then the guests are given a steam bath. Finally the guests are given a chill water shower to wrap up the massage session and the guests are bound to feel completely rejuvenated and refreshed by the end of this wonderful massage. The entire session takes approximately 1 1/2 hrs - 2 hrs time. Apart from the in-house guests and members, these massages can be availed by everyone. The other option for the guests is Hydrotherapy which is supposed to be very effective, especially for people
who are physically challenged. The coach also gives strength training to professionals and cardio-vascular exercises, but this is offered only to in-house guests and members.
The indoor swimming pool in GRT Grand Days is an extraordinary pool being the only temperature controlled air-conditioned pool in Chennai. The pool provides coaching classes for men, women and children for any one hour between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays for a month. The pool is designed based on the Turkish style with waterfalls, blue and white tiles giving the entire place a cool look. This heated pool is a major attraction, since the water is warm and inviting. The pool is shallow in keeping with the closed ambience, the length of the pool is about 16 metres, and the depth is 4.5
metres. The Club is open from 7 am to 9 pm.
