Ingredients
1 kg cauliflower washed and sliced
100 gm. onions (chopped)
15 gm. ginger strips
50 gm. ghee (butter-oil)
30 gm. vegetable stock
For masala:
1 green chilli
10 pepper corns
2 flakes of garlic
Half teaspoon of turmeric powder (all ground together)
Method:
Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan with a lid and fry the onions to a golden brown. Add masala and ginger strips while stirring. Now add the cauliflower - keep carefully stirring till the cauliflower is slightly brown. Moisten with vegetable stock, and reduce the heat. Add salt - pepper - red chilli and chopped coriander leaves and keep in the oven for 15 minutes.
(Serve with rice or puries)
