Hot Dog buns - 4
Cole Slaw - 4 tblsp.
White Sauce /
English Monkey - 4 tblsp.
Shredded Capsicum - 1/4 cup
Tomato rings - ¼ cup
Shredded lettuce - 1/4 cup
Butter - 1/4 cup
Lemon Juice - 2 tblsp.
Cheese
Garlic
Pepper Powder - 4 tsp.
Method:
Mix butter and cream with lime juice, pepper and crushed garlic cob. Cream cheese with pepper powder. Cut the hot dog bun into two parts horizontally. Apply flavoured butter and creamed cheese on both parts. Spread a thin layer of cole slaw. Arrange thin onion rings, thin tomato rings, lettuceand capsicum rings. Lay a thin spread of White Sauce/English Monkey/Mayonnaise on the top part of the Hot Dog bun. Serve with tomato ketchup.
English Monkey
Heat ¼ cup (3 tblsp.) of butter in a pan. Add ½ cup of milk, ½ cup of soft bread and green chillies. When hot, add a cup of grated cheese. Season with pepper powder, a pinch of salt and a drop of Worcestershire sauce.
White Sauce
Butter ¼ cup, flour ¼ cup, milk - 1 cup, cheese - 3 tbslp. Melt butter. Strain the flour using a wooden spoon. Cook over gentle heat for three minutes. Keep stirring, so that it does not get brown. Remove from heat and gradually add the milk and grated cheese, till well blended. Add salt, pepper and mustard powder.
