Ingredients
Potatoes - ½ kg.
Nigella seeds - 1/8 tsp
Green chillies - 2 nos.
Sugar - 1 tsp
Poppy seeds (heaped) - 2 tbs
Oil - 1 tbs
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil & put the nigella seeds in. When it splutters add the diced potatoes & fry for 10 minutes. Moisten or grind the poppy seeds & apply them on the potatoes & cover the pan with a lid. Keep stirring from time to time. Add some water to it. Once the water dries & the potatoes soften, add the green chillies (whole) & some red chilli powder, salt & sugar while adding a little ghee. Serve the dish with rice.
