Ingredients
Red tomato - 500 gm.
Mustard seed - 2 tsp.
Bay leaf - 2 nos.
Salt to taste
Dates chopped - 1/4 cup
Raisins - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 200 gm.
Turmeric powder - 2 tsp.
Oil - 2 tsp.
Method:
Heat a pan. Add oil and throw in a few mustard
seeds. When it crackles, add the bay-leaf. Now add chopped tomato, salt and turmeric powder. Cover it for 10 minutes until is turns soft. Then add the dates, raisins & sugar and mix
everything. When it turns thick, remove from pan and serve hot or cold.
