Dr. Shanmuga Das, President (Chennai), All India Ayurveda Congress, said, "In India, it has always been the community at large who supports health care providers; who have encouraged the medical community to share and exchange knowledge on a common platform so as to benefit the masses. This conference also aims at global dissemination of knowledge of Ayurveda".

In addition to the speaker presentations and discussion forums, the conference will also co-host an Ayurveda Expo, an arena for delegates to access a whole lot of authentic Ayurveda products and services such as authentic Ayurveda medicines, Ayurveda equipment, books & CDs, including allied knowledge systems such as Yoga and meditation resources.
