Free check-up for kids

Lifeline Rigid Hospital will conduct a free paediatric health check-up for infants and children up to 12 years of age on November 14, Children’s Day, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 47/3, New Avadi Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-600010.

The paediatric check-up will be for just-born babies, tiny-tots and children up to 12 years of age. The camp will give free advice and counselling on hyperactive children, steps to prevent loss of concentration, importance of maintaining timely Immunisation schedules and general healthcare for children.

Lifeline Rigid Hospital conducts medical and health camps periodically for the benefit of poor and weaker sections. Recently, a Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure and sugar check-up camp was conducted by the hospital during the Durga Pooja festival in October.

Dr J S Rajkumar, who is the chairman and CEO and a renowned surgeon of Chennai, heads Lifeline Rigid Hospitals. Rigid Hospitals has been conducting medical camps, treating patients and performing surgery free of cost for the poor. 

This health check-up will be a blessing for infants and tiny-tots. It would educate parents on taking better care of their children.
