FitnessOne, Alwarpet, has hit a new high. The
first Impact CYQ Exercise to Music, five-day intensive programme
for those interested in taking exercise to new heights was
launched n Chennai recently. The certification received will
enable all the students to teach Exercise to Music
internationally as they will be on the International Register of
Exercise Professionals. As the name suggest, Exercise to Music
or ETM has been formulated for those who need that additional
punch in their workout - some variety and a little more free
movement to make working out fun, says Vivek Anand, MD,
FitnessOne.
Over 120 FitnessOne employees have become
part of this register as they have completed CYQ's Gym
Instructor Level 2 Qualification.
"While we want FitnessOne trainers to
improve and get global in their approach to exercise, we
also want to help those who are interested in learning from
our international partners. Often, we find people are a
little diffident about using machines to get to their
fitness goals. They need a little more to keep them fit. We
want them to get it. Yes, there are several aerobics
teaching courses floating around, but being FitnessOne means
we have to give our clients what is accepted globally. Our
students are learning from Impact International's Master
Trainers. These trainers are especially flown in for the
purpose of imparting fitness education," says Vivek Anand.
Impact International team of Master
Trainers have created this new course of ETM to ensure
excitement, dynamism and the right kind of movement. It will
teach aerobics instructors the latest international
techniques for teaching group exercise. Amanda Brewer,
Director of Education for Impact, says, "The team is really
thrilled to be working with FitnessOne. This will put
quality group exercise on the map, we will take all the
candidates from the basics through to being star performers!
This is a great course for both
males and females. We hope we will get a good mix of both as
there is a huge demand for quality classes and there is
enormous career potential for both."
Courses are now open to all those wishing
to become Fitness Instructors or those already working in
the fitness industry and looking to update or enhance their
qualifications. The courses provide an ideal vehicle for
numerous dedicated fitness fanatics in India who enjoy
exercising and simply want to gain more knowledge to make
informed choices about the classes and gyms that they
attend, Vivek Anand said.
