SRMC's new initiative
Yet another initiative from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed University), in its efforts at making higher education both practical and creative, is an attempt to kindle the youth to partake in research activities and life long learning.
The New York University and the Dental College of
Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed University) are coming together for a dialogue and a long-term alliance.
This institution has the immense experience and benefits from the earlier alliance with Harvard Medical International. Looking at the phenomenal result of this alliance in terms of leadership training, faculty training and curriculum development methodology, the institution strives to have meaningful educational and research alliances globally, according to an Institute spokesman.
Dr. Stuart M Hirsch. Dean – International Affairs, New York University and Dr. Sathya Kallur, PRO, International Affairs, New York University are in Chennai to have an interaction session with students, dialogue with the faculty on thrust areas of participation and discussion with the Management for a long-term association to consider the Dental College of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed University) as the Centre for the NIH sponsored multinational and multi-centric oral cancer research.
In this connection there was a meeting of the Dean, New York University and their officials with the management of SRMC on 3rd February 2004, at the Convocation Hall of their University.
