Adi Amavasya will be celebrated with special homams
and pujas to Goddess Prathiyankara Devi on August 12 at the Chennai Om
Sri Skandasramam temple.
According to a note from ashram manager P
Santhanam, there will be a special Prathiyankara homam at 9 a.m.
followed by abishekam for Goddess Prathiyankara Devi at 10 a.m.
As usual, there will be annadanam at 12.30 p.m.
In the evening there will be a special Navavarna Puja at 5 p.m.
"We request all devotees to participate in the special homams and
poojas and receive the bountiful blessings of Goddess Prathiyankara
Devi and Sadguru Shrimath Santhananda Swamigal (the founder of the
