Are
the Vedas three or four in number? Western arguments conclude there
are only three, taking into account only Rig, Yajur and Sama Vedas and
excluding the Atharva veda as if it deals with black magic. Their view
is biased and wrong. The Atharva Veda deals with matters which plague
mankind right from creation to extinction. Its usefulness as to its
suggestive remedies in the form of prayers for the well-being of
mankind; its philosophy towards progeny, and, above all, the real need
of the hour, seeking a solution to their happy present-day life rather
than posterity, are seldom served. From time-immemorial the
spiritual land of Bharat has seen many a great visionary appear for
the uplift of mankind. One of them is
Sri
V V Sridhar Guruji. He is blessed with the divine cosmic knowledge
- Chaya Atharva Veda and Sri Krishna Mohana Vidya. He is the only
living exponent of the sacred knowledge which he learnt from great
masters of Vedic lore. The sacred system takes care of the imbalances
in Nature together with that of human beings.
Sri Sridhar Guruji, under the aegis of Sri Jwala
Central Trust, Hyderabad, and Sri Jwala Trust, Chennai, founded by
him, performed a series of maha yagnams (69th yagnam to 77th) at
Ahobilam - the unique Nava-Nrusimha Kshetram in Kurnool District
(Andhra Pradesh) from August 18-28, 2007.
The nine shrines at Ahobilam viz. Ugra (Ugram),
Varaha (Veeram), Malola (Maha Vishnum), Jwala (Jwalantham), Pavana (Sarvathomukham),
Karanja (Nrusimham), Chatravata (Bheeshanam), Yogananda (Badram), and
Bhargava (Mrityu Mrityum), correspondingly representing the
nine-planets, Surya, Chandra, Sukra, Angaraka, Ketu, Rahu, Budha, Guru
and Saneeshwara, were profusely propitiated during the maha yagnams to
ward off the planetary afflictions.
Knowing their power and significance, a large
number of devotees participated in the yagnams and got benefited from
them. The normal barriers of caste, creed, colour or sex don’t find
place anywhere here. Love, compassion, care, service, mercy and grace
were seen in action, as advocated by Sri Sridhar Guruji.
The sequence of the ‘Prayoga Yagnams’ continue
during the coming months (mainly during December ’07). Those who have
not witnessed the grandeur of the yagnams, please look out for the one
slated at ‘Dwaraka Tirumala’, near Eluru (Andhra Pradesh) for 10 days
from December 14-23, 2007. Prayers will be offered for mundane
problems like – overcoming obstacles, lack of intelligence, business
development, protection from accidental deaths, good progeny, health,
wealth and all-round success in life.
