Narmad class of 1998 10 year Reunion - June 2008

The Narmad class of 1998 held a small 10 year reunion in the Bay Area this summer. About 30 alumni and their families attended the celebrations. The weekend started off with a boys night out on Friday which quickly became a Tarams like hangout in Anand Daga's house. The next day saw a family picnic where the Narmad soccer team exhibited their skills and Suryanarayana (Sunna) unveiled specially designed Narmad T-shirts. The highlight was the Saturday night gala at a neighborhood restaurant featuring a sultry belly dance show as a surprise end to the evening. Mukund Iyer (kunds) set the stage on fire with his own "belly" dance while Vinod (Dalda) vowed everyone with a great slideshow featuring a vignette on every single Narmadite. The group also toasted Vijay (Yengo) on successfully getting his startup sold to SAP. A big thanks to the Bay Area boys who under Venkatesh's (Gemky) able leadership organized the whole event!!Ben Thomas single-handedly put on a show for us, the' 70 batch, at Arizona, which was beyond compare. His project management, logistics and people skills were to the fore, shepherding the twenty four of us, without a single hitch, Jun18 thru Jun 22.
