Divine Mother

Ramesh.N [1973-BTME]

Goddess of fortune, knowledge and strength;
I can speak of your wonder at length;
Your multifarious forms are a divine mystery;
Your edifices are scattered in Hindu history;
You're visible in nature for mankind to see,
Like the programmed seed of every tree.

You lend courage to a weak heart;
In every tiny atom, Thou art.
Roses and Jasmine reflect your forms;
Sunrises and sunsets act to your norms.
Divine Mother of a thousand names;
Infinite are your powers and games.

Arm-in-arm with the Creator, essential to existence;
You gave the Trinity roles, by your magnificence.
Intertwined with man, as mother, sister, wife or daughter;
Life without you, is life without air and water.
