Roll Call to 1965 Batch

A chance to meet our old classmates, with whom we studied in the same institute, lived with in the same hostel and fought against for trivial reasons in the same mess hall, after 50 whole years, is always adventurous for more than one reason. First, we have to identify them when we meet after so long. Then we have to remember the personal equations with those guys as hostel mates. Further down we have to see whether we still nurture the same ill will towards them. However, now we will no longer be so boisterous as we were half a century ago, and our memories might have failed/might be failing, and the ‘firing-power’ might be on the wane. And not in the least, our spouses might be there to give us the look of scorn to make us behave better at the get-together. On the whole it will be great fun to relive the great moments after half a century!

The 1965 Batch mates, ‘The True Pioneers of the IITM Campus,’ wish to hold one more successful two day get-together in 2010 at Chennai. Programme for the meet will be ready in due course. All Alumni belonging the following list are requested to get in touch through the 1965 Yahoo! Groups or directly, for the proposed get-together with their suggestions and whole-hearted support.

• 1959 Joined - B.Techs but joined 1965 Batch due to misfortune
• 1960 Joined - Directly in the second year with our seniors
• 1961 Joined - Directly in second year with 1965 Batch.
