Charlie's crack team of super Sleuths are back again! The vibrant, colourful trio of Natalie Cook (Diaz), Dylan Sanders (Barrymore), and Alex Munday (Liu),
who regaled the audiences in the film version of the popular TV serial, return in its sequel. This time, the narration delves into more of their background and personalities,
as they battle not only against crime, but their own personal problems too. There are more gruelling stunts and action, more of tongue-in-check lines, raunchy comedy, and bizarre costumes abd floor-shows And there's the glamorous Demi Moore too, as the 'fallen' angel.
McG, a debutant director when the first version was filmed, is more assured this time. Two rings containing valuable information on the identities of persons listed in the 'Federal Witness Protection Program' are stolen. The witnesses turn up dead one by one.
It's upto the Angels to retrieve the stolen rings, and expose and stop the perpetrator of the crimes - a 'fallen' Angel (Demi Moore), on her vendetta 'spree'.
The film opens at a remote bar in Mongolia where the Angels are on a mission to rescue a kidnapped U. S. Marshall. From there, the action takes off as the Angels go through the entire gamut of disguises, espionage, motorcross, a chase in the docks, and on the roof-top of a high-rise building. If you liked the earlier version, you definitely won't like to miss this one!
