Bad Boys

The 'Bad Boys' Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) are back again in the sequel eight years after their first entry. This time with more fights and shoot-outs, more of foul language and bitching, more chases, all within a bigger budget and slicker special effects. But on the laugh front the film falls flat.
This time narcotics detectives Lowrey and Burnett are a part of a high-tech force assigned to stem the flow of designer ecstasy into Miami. They uncover a conspiracy involving Jordi Molla a ruthless drug lord, who brooks no interference in his ambition to take control of the city's drug trade. Complications arise when Marcus's sister Syd (Union) gets caught in the crossfire, and Mike falls for her, to the chagrin of her brother. It's when Syd is kidnapped that the two agents reconcile their differences and go after their common enemy, to rescue Syd and save Miami.
