2 Fast 2 Furious

The film opens with a race in Miami, and one of the participants on the fast lane is a disgraced ex-cop O'Connor who has a way with cars. O'Connor gets a chance to redeem himself when federal agents approach him to help nab Carter Veron, a flashy businessman suspected of running an international money-laundering cartel. Their common interest in illegal street racing would help bring O'Connor nearer to Veron. O'Connor agrees provided he gets to recruit his old buddy and ex-con Roman Pearce as his partner. O'Connor is
attracted to Monica Fuentes, Veron's mistress, an undercover agent herself. And then it's racing, guns and fights, with things falling into place at a fast pace.
It
 may not have a great story line, no Ven Diesel (of part 1), and great performances to boast of. But '2 Fast 2 Furious', the sequel to 'Fast and Furious' keeps your adrenalin pumping with it's life on the fast lane scenario. Gorgeous looking fast cars, dangerous killer races, fast paced action scenes that you'll miss if you even blink, and a thumping sound track. Watching the performances behind the wheels, one doesn't really mind the lack of star power, or the pedestrian script.
