After regaling the audiences with his antics in 'Stuart Little', the lovable, gutsy, pint-sized hero Stuart is back in action in the sequel 'Stuart Little - 2'. In this animated characters-blended with-live actors film, a couple of fascinating characters have been added. Margalo, the little bird, on whom the little mouse develops a crush, and the menacing vulture Falcon.
There are some changes in the Little family since we last saw them about two years ago. Apart from George, the elder son, there is the new addition of Martha - their little daughter. Mrs. Little has become over-protective of Stuart, who however is allowed to drive to school in his little car. Snowbell the
cat has reconciled to Stuart's presence in the house, and Stuart has developed a knack to build aeroplanes, and actively participate in the soccer team.
It's that zing that is missing from Stuart's life. But soon he gets more than his share of life's adventures, when a little bird Margalo, chased by the vulture Falcon, falls injured in his car. Stuart takes her home, develops a crush on her, she's sweet on him, and the Little family too welcomes this new addition. But Margalo is there with a mission, and after accomplishing that she soon disappears from their lives. It's time for action, and Stuart and Snowbell go on a rescue mission to Falcon's lair, down dustbins, on a boat and a rickety plane, with the little mouse's guts and imagination put to test.
Two new voices have been added to that of Michael J. Fox (Voice for Stuart) and Nathan Lane (Voice for Snowbell), that of actors Melanie Griffith (Voice of Margalo) and James Woods (Voice of Falcon). With its fascinating characters, splendid visual effects like the aerial acrobatics, its funny one-liners and repartees, 'Stuart Little - 2' is a Diwali treat for both children and adults.
