Baadshah

Abbas- Mustan is back with a thriller, with a comedy track interwoven into the plot. Shah Rukh Khan plays a youngster who wants to achieve his dreams, become rich and famous. To realise his ambitions, he becomes a private detective. One day he rescues a child and thwarts a kidnapping. His problems begin at this point. He is drawn into a web of conspiracy and dealings and double dealings, and a contract is out on him. How he captures the villains, and wraps the whole case forms the rest of the plot.

One marked difference in this movie is Twinkle Khanna, the gawky, and garish young actress has disappeared. She has had a major image overhaul not to mention the more suitable hairstyle and make-up. Even her wardrobe is sophisticated and apt for the situations. The movie also has Johnny Lever who is at his usual best. Once again Manish Malhotra has waved his wand and transformed yet another plain Jane into a vision of loveliness.
