Two amateur con men are forced to flee all the way to Goa when they discover that a local don is after their blood. Once there, they meet an NRI who is on his way to work for his rich uncle (Anupam Kher). Sniffing an ideal opportunity to make some easy money, the two heroes rob the man and land on Anupam's doorstep - with Sanjay Dutt pretending to be the nephew, and Govinda his right hand man. They also meet two local beauties, who join the lads for some fun and dance.
However the picture is different from what they had imagined as Anupam Kher is no longer as rich as people think of him, and his family is after the little money he has. Things take a turn for the worse when he has a heart attack and risks losing everything. There are only two people who can help him now, and whilst Govinda and Sanjay are happy to do so, they are about to discover that the don from back home isn't far away!
Govinda's fans will not be disappointed with his performance. His character is witty, charming and very enjoyable and fits him perfectly. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt, who doesn't indulge in comedy very often, manages to keep up with his co-star, and the chemistry is similar to their last film together 'Haseena Maan Jayegi'.
Director David Dhawan has done a good job - the focus being on laughs, colourful settings and clothing, songs with the craziest of lyrics, and a story to match. If you are looking for a film that is realistic and with some substance, then this is not for you!
While Twinkle Khanna and Monica Bedi try and make the best of their roles, they remain as accompaniments to the heroes. Hardly an opportunity has been given to test their acting abilities.
