After the thriller ‘Gupt’ Rajiv Rai is back with ‘Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’. And what is it all about? Let us see the story outline.
Sunil Shetty is a rich tycoon who meets a medical student Isha (Keerti Reddy) at a function. Incidentally she studies about the heart and heart related diseases, but does not respond when Sunil Shetty proposes to her. Keerti goes to Scotland on a scholarship. Sunil now employs a struggling model Gaurav (Arjun Ramphal) to love and ditch Keerti so that she would turn to Sunil. The price fixed is ten crores. Sadly, there is a third guy, the son of one of the richest Indians in Scotland, Taj (Aftab Shivdasani) who falls for Keerti. But Arjun wins her heart and she falls for him. After a while he ditches her and she is confused. Sunil comes into the picture and tries to woo her. And what does Aftab do? Keeps crying - mera number kab
aayega?
Rai has completed his film in such a hurry that the climax which was supposed to be power-packed turns into a hilarious, comic strip. Viju Shah's music is good, but the picturisation of songs could have been better. The dances lack grace, and the scenes are clumsy at times. Arjun makes a good debut and Sunil Shetty tries hard but otherwise the performances are mediocre. Other than Dalip Tahil, Denzel, as Keerti Reddy's father is pathetic.
