The Mylapore Trio running the Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation is conducting its monthly concerts programme - Kala Poshakam – on Sunday, June 10, 2007.

"We have been conducting the monthly concerts, 'Kala Poshakam', on a Sunday evening of every month, of classical dance, music, instruments & also in other art forms... for children, youth & elders (unsung heroes)," declares S Surendaranath, one of the Trio, the other two being S Amarnath and S Aparna.

According to a note from the organisers, the performers on June 10 are:

1 Shri Muralidhara Guruji Vidhyalayam – Group Music
(Disciples of Uma Murali)

2. L A Dhanyasri – Bharatnatyam
(Disciple of Sujatha Mohan)

3. Raaj Paresh Baba – Kuchipudi
(Babanjali Temple of Arts)

4. S Manikandan – Carnatic Music
(Disciple of Kannan)

The programme is to be held at the Mini Hall of Narada Gana Sabha, T T K Road, Alwarpet, Chennai - 600 018 at 5.30 p.m.

"All are welcome in traditional attire," adds the Trio.
