Nandi Fine Arts, an arts organisation
promoting Carnatic classical music, will be holding its 22nd
Annual Music festival from December 14 to December 21 at the Sri
Venugopalaswamy Temple Auditorium, Gopalapuram, Chennai.
The Shrimath Santhananda Swamigal Award and
the title of Nandikeswara Nada Kaladhara will be awarded on
vocalist Suguna Purushottaman this year during the inauguration.
The inauguration will be chaired by K
Lakshman, secretary, Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam, and the chief
guest will be Dr S Rangaswami, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Ramachandra
Medical University, Chennai.
The festival will feature:
Suguna Purushottaman - Vocal;
Dr M Lalitha and M Nandini - Violin;
Vijay Venkateswar - Vichitra Veena;
Dr R S Jayalakshmi - Veena; and
K Bhaskaran - Flute.
