JS Entertainment, recently formed with the sole objective of bringing musicians and music lovers together in a journey of enjoyment to a cross-section of people, has committed itself to ensuring that such events benefit social causes taken up by voluntary organisations/NGOs who work selflessly to make the lives of the needy better and help them find their feet. Music combined with a social cause....the mix can be one of joy and soul-satisfying. Chennaionline.com is one of the sponsors of the shows.
In the process of initiating such efforts, the group is bringing together three events which will take the audience to the golden days - 'Anubhavam Pudhumai' - a bouquet of romantic Tamil film songs by M S Viswanathan and Ilayaraja, which will be held on March 2, 2007, evening; and then 'Ek Se Badkar Ek',...a show which delivers some of the best remembered and popular duet songs by the hit pairs starting from the great showman himself - Raj Kapoor to Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, on March 10, 2007.
The third show will be the same as on 10th, to be held at Bangalore on March 18, 2007. The Chennai shows of March 2 and March 10 will be held at the Music Academy,

The March 2, '07, event, Anubhavam Pudhumai, is being held in aid of two valuable organisations - RMD Centre of Pain Relief and Palliative Care, Chennai, which is actively involved in providing comfort to patients suffering from advanced cancers and other painful, chronic diseases, a facility that is not accessible to the lower socio-economic group which struggles with physical and mental pain.
The other organisation is Women Empowerment and Rural Education Trust (WERE), Trichy, which is presently raising funds for 'Empowerment of Children of Sex Workers' under the AIDS Initiative Project.
The proceeds of the contributions of sponsors for this event will be for the benefit of these organisations. The Tami1 songs show will be orchestrated by T V Anand and his team while the March 10 and 18 show will be by Pramod and his team.
The Tamil film industry is the second largest film industry in India. Silent movies have been produced in Chennai since 1916...and the era of talkies dawned in 1931. The Tamil audience, quite naturally, preferred to see films made in their own languages and the more songs they had, the better. Great composers like MSV and Ilayaraja had a magical way of mysteriously changing the way we used our heart for expressions, says Sekhar of JS Entertainment.
Songs to suit any mood. Be it love, friendship or philosophy, they have always been a part of our movies and our lives, adds Pramod. These melodies still make everyone hum along their favourite track even amidst their tedious work life - be it 'Paartha Gnaabakam Illaiyo' by MSV or 'Kaadhalin Deepam Ondru' by Ilayaraja. These may be distinctly different in their expressions but still make us enjoy their melody and meaning, Pramod says.
Expressions of love may have changed over time, but the feeling of love always remains the same in the hearts of the people. JS Entertainment is making a sincere attempt in bringing back those memories to you through their showcase event of the year 'Anubhavam Pudhumai' - the best of Tamil film romantic songs aimed at the 'romantic hearts' of
Chennai.
The songs will be orchestrated by T V Anand and rendered by his team, popular for their selection and rendering of the songs as also for the overall presentation. The musicians' group comprises well-known professionals from the industry. Upcoming playback singers will entertain you with their melodious voices and presentation.
And yes, many of these melodies will be presented along with unique dance sequences.
