 Sivappadhikaaram CD released
 The audio CD of 'Sivappadhikaaram', a film produced by Screenplay Entertainment Ltd, was released in Chennai on October 24, 2006, by actor Parthiban. The first copy was received by director-actor Bhagyaraj. The film has music score by Vidyasagar to the lyrics of Bharatidaasan, Pa Vijay and Yugabharathi.
Saregama (HMV) have brought out the CDs and cassettes which are now in the market. The movie has Vishaal and Mamta (debut) in the lead roles, supported by Raghuvaran, Manivannan, T P Gajendran, Srikanth, Rajan P. Dev, Upendra Limay, Shanmugharajan and Ganja Karuppu, among others.
Karu Palaniappan is in charge of the story, dialogue, screenplay and direction.
Parthiban said he was proud of the growth of Palaniappan who had worked with him as an assistant director for some time.
Bhagyaraj congratulated the producers, M R Mohan Radha (brother of actor Radhika) and B S Radhakrishnan, for taking up a bold subject of unrest in a rural area. He was glad that actor Vishaal was more interested in taking up good subjects and roles. Several heroes have a wrong impression that they can shine only as action heroes and that people want only action films. The success of several low-budget films with a new crop of actors has shown that people are willing to accept good films if they have good story line and screenplay, he said, adding that the industry needed more producers like Shankar, who backed new directors with offbeat subjects, and Thyagarajan, who produced a successful movie in 'Em Magan', and so on.
Directors Lingusamy, Saran, Dharani and Seemaan introduced the songs of the film and wished the unit success. They said the lyrics were meaningful and were sure that the songs would help the movie do well.
Vishaal said it was a matter of pride for him to play the lead role in such a powerful film. To him job satisfaction was more important than success. In the case of this film, it provided him immense satisfaction. He was also sure that the hard work of the unit would be rewarded, and that the masses would back the film.
Mohan Radha and Radhakrishnan congratulated the technicians for excellent team spirit and all-round cooperation in the making of the film.
The audio CD has songs by Sujatha, Madhu Balakrishnan, Karthik and Manicka
Vinayagam.
