The Inreco music company has brought out a VCD called
Samarpanam with a fine collection of songs rendered by leading lights of the Carnatic music world, backed by visuals of shots taken in the relevant temples.
Sudha
Ragunathan, Bombay Jayashri,
Nithyasree Mahadevan, Priya Sisters, S Sowmya and 'Mahanadhi' Shobana are the six artistes featured in the VCD. The visuals have been provided by
Vijay Television Pvt Ltd. The VCD is priced at Rs 200.
Sudha Ragunathan has sung Sriman Narayana (Annamacharya) and the location shown is the Lord Venkateswara temple in
Tirumala. The duration is of six minutes and 15 seconds.
Bombay Jayashri has performed Karuna Sagarane (Suddhananda Bharati). Here too the location is the
Tirumala temple.

Nithyashree Mahadevan has three songs in this album -- Kaana Aaayiram Kann (Arulavan) and which is backed by shots of
Murugan temples (duration seven minutes and 24
seconds), Addum Chidambaramo (Gopalakrishna Bharathy) shot at Chidambaram (duration four minutes and 51 seconds) and Sivaloka Nathanai (Gopalakrishna Bharathy) with shots of
Vaitheeswaran Temple (duration five minutes and seven seconds).
Mahanadhi Shobana has two songs -- Sri Gajananam (Ashta Ganapathy Geetham), of six minutes and 53 seconds duration (Varasree) and shot at Sri
Varasiddhi Vallabha, Sri Ganapathy
Temple, and Dhukka Nivarana Ashtaham (Sri Durgai Chiththar), with visuals of Kanchi Kamakshi temple -- duration five minutes and 57 seconds.
Sowmya has one number Uruvaagum (Varasree) shot in Aalangudi
Guru Bhagavan temple and of five minutes, 41 seconds duration.
Priya Sisters have presented a song Garuda Gamana
(Annamacharya) and shot in the Tirumala temple -- duration five minutes, 56 seconds.
