The new gen music system
Bose Corporation has introduced the Bose
Wave @ Music System, the next generation acoustic waveguide speaker technology, into the Chennai market. The all-new Bose
Wave @ Music System has been engineered to deliver a new standard of audio performance, elegance and simplicity. This innovation is yet another milestone from Bose in changing people's belief about the sound quality they could expect from a small system.
The Bose Wave@Music System incorporates new
wave guide speaker technology to provide rich, lush, room-filling sound from a system so small and simple to use, it fits almost anywhere, said
Ratish
Panday, general manager, Bose Corporation India Pvt Ltd, in Chennai. The Bose Wave@Music System uses proprietary signal processing to improve instrument clarity and definition at all listening levels.
Panday said, "Creating the new Bose
Wave @ Music System involved the expertise of over 250 engineers, incorporating acoustic, mechanical, electrical, software, signal processing, manufacturing and quality engineering. Sophisticated computer models were used to integrate the electronics, amplifiers and speakers into an elegant and small package, while enhancing performance.
What makes it different?
"The Wave @ Music System is a bold new standard in audio performance from a tabletop system. The system has no buttons and is simple to operate and enjoy. All the functions of the
Wave @ Music System are controlled by a credit card-style infrared remote. The CD player, digital AM/FM tuner, amplifiers and speakers are all built in so you can enjoy quality sound right out of the
box."
"The Bose Wave @ Music System incorporates a slot-load CD player to provide greater convenience, flexibility and elegance. The CD player also plays newer MP3 CDs. Multiple CD play modes - random, repeat or continuous - lets you hear music the way you like it." The system is designed to interface seamlessly with other Bose products through the proprietary BoselinkTM technology. It's also easy to enjoy the system's full, rich sound with your TV, VCR, DVD player, or computer with the system's auxiliary input jack. The system can also be used for private listening by simply attaching a headphone to it.
The Bose
Wave @ Music System with the built-in antenna enables listening to one's favourite FM/AM channels by pre-setting the channel frequencies for six FM and six AM channels. The large, bright display panel is easy to read and understand; prominently displaying the artiste, title and album names of suitably encoded MP3 CDs.
One of the unique features of the
Wave @ Music System is that it has an automatic ramping ability. The volume starts low and gently increases to the last set volume, delivering a more pleasant experience.
The new Bose
Wave @ Music System is available in platinum white and graphite gray. It is priced at Rs 29,900 (exclusive of taxes).
